Neighborhood Renaissance Seed Grants

The Jamestown Renaissance Corporation offers small grants (between $100 and $750) to support projects and activities that sow the seeds of revitalization by engaging residents in the renaissance

of their neighborhoods.

The following are examples of projects, activities and expenses eligible for Seed Grants. The list is not exhaustive. Contact the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation if you have questions about specific projects and expenses.

Events and Activities
Block party supplies (food, decorations, equipment rental)
Event advertising, permits, and entertainment
Communal tools and supplies for neighborhood clean-ups

Beautification and Branding
Supplies for beautification projects (plants, soil, mulch, paint)
Planters and containers
Logo design
Signage
Public artwork (design and installation)

Organization and Communications
Newsletter printing and other printing expenses
Web site development and maintenance
Expenses for regularly scheduled or special meetings
