GROW Jamestown

The Grow Jamestown Front Garden Recognition Program is a way to acknowledge home gardeners who contribute to the curb appeal of Jamestown’s neighborhoods—and to encourage all residents to take part in making Jamestown a more beautiful place. Nominated gardens receive a small garden sign to acknowledge the value they add to the city.

To be eligible for recognition, a garden must be a front yard or side yard garden with good visibility from the street, and be well-maintained.

2012 GROW Jamestown Gardens

In 2012, the successful program had over 300 of Jamestown’s best front and side yard gardens were nominated by the public and received a GROW Jamestown garden sign. To see pictures of these gardens, visit the GROW Jamestown album on JRC’s Facebook.

2011 GROW Jamestown Gardens

In 2011, nearly 200 of Jamestown’s best front and side yard gardens were nominated by the public and received a GROW Jamestown garden sign.  To see pictures of these gardens, visit the GROW Jamestown album on JRC’s Facebook.
