The City of Jamestown has been witnessing the revival of its downtown core over the past four years. The Jamestown Renaissance Corporation, through use of unified public-private partnerships, has been working with many downtown stakeholders and community leaders to support the implementation of the city's Urban Design Plan. And results are being seen.

The JRC has instituted several successful programs. While streetscape improvements – the Façade Restoration Program, the Alley Enhancement Program, the creation of Renaissance Square, Potters gALLErY and the Winter Garden Plaza, et cetera – are most visible, the JRC is also proudly supporting Waterfront Research and Development and Upper Floor Redevelopment initiatives.
